Board Member Spotlight: Lindsay Bubar

Lindsay Bubar currently serves as the President for the National Women’s Political Caucus, LA Westside chapter.

She was raised in the San Fernando Valley and graduated from the University of Southern California with degrees in Psychology, Business and Advertising. At USC, Lindsay was active in grassroots politics and started what eventually turned into a career in non-profit and political fundraising.

Lindsay works for the California League of Conservation Voters (CLCV), California's only political organization focusing on electing environmental champions and holding them accountable once elected. She is responsible for all fundraising efforts in Southern California, including management of CLCV's major donor program and annual fundraising event.

Lindsay is an exemplary volunteer, both in leadership roles and in her commitment to grassroots advocacy work. In addition to serving as the President of the NWPC, LA Westside chapter, she is very active in the NWPC California chapter, serves on the San Fernando Valley Young Democrats board as the Political Director, and serves on the board of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters as the Board Development Chair. She volunteers her time eagerly and assists both progressive candidates and non-profit organizations (including Planned Parenthood and Running Start) with fundraising and organizing efforts.

Lindsay is honored to serve in her third term as President of NWPC LA Westside, working hard to reach full gender equity in politics. She believes it is critical to have women at the table when making policy decisions that affect all people, particularly women and children, and believes NWPC is in a position to help make that happen.
