Don't miss this special National Women's History Month event commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the City of West Hollywood's Women's Advisory Board: From Riot Grrrls to Nasty Women. Join the West Hollywood City Council, the City of West Hollywood Women's Advisory Board, founders of the Board, and former and current members of the Board for an evening honoring the women's rights movement and local women leaders. Discussion will highlight the legacy and impact of the City's work during the past 25 years in fighting for rights, representation, and equality for women and girls, address current events and ways to inspire future women leaders. The City of West Hollywood, its Women's Advisory Board and the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce present the 23rd Annual Women in Leadership Awards. This year's honorees are Gloria Allred, Civil Rights Attorney and Women's Rights Advocate; Ruth Cislowski, Social Work Educator; Caroline Heldman, Activist & Writer; Vera Mijojlic, Founder & Festival Director (SEEfest) and Dimple Thakkar, CEO of SYNHERGY MARKETING.

Digital Billboard Display on the Sunset Strip Featuring Women Artists
The City of West Hollywood will recognize and celebrate the work of female artists whose works have been exhibited within the City with streaming video on two Sunset Strip electronic billboards located on Sunset Boulevard, one located at 8410 Sunset Boulevard and the other located at 9039 Sunset Boulevard. The groundbreaking women artists include: AES+F; Alison O'Daniel; Amia Yokoyama; Amy Jorgensen; Andrea Bowers; Basma Al Sharif; Janet Echelman; Jen Liu; Jillian Mayer; Kate Johnson; Martine Syms; Nancy Baker Cahill; Sita Valrun; and, YoMeryl.
