"Getting to Yes" (GTY) is an interactive workshop presented by Teray Stephens that teaches participants a sure-fire process of how to ask for and get money for their campaign, business, or cause.

This half-day seminar is being held on May 11th at the Newport Beach Radisson from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM, and is perfect for a candidate, fundraiser, campaign staff, businesswoman or anyone who wants to be successful in asking for money.

This seminar has been taught to over 2500 people and the techniques have been used to raise millions for campaigns & businesses.

We need you! View this email in your browser We have some good news to share. close the gap CA is a statewide recruiting campaign to find talented, progressive women to run and win seats in the California legislature in 2014 and 2016. Over the past 10 years, women’s representation in our state legislature has declined from 30% to 25%; women of color dropped from 44% of women legislators to just 32% today. Fortunately, we can reverse the decline. In 2014 and 2016, nearly 50% of Assembly and Senate seats will open up.  Progressive women can win many of them. With focus and a well-funded strategy, we can ‘close the gap’ and not just the gender gap. Research shows that when we elect progressive women, we are taking big steps toward closing the school funding gap, the access gap to affordable health and reproductive care, and the growing gap between the wealthy and those in poverty. Working with women’s political and civic organizations, past and current legislators and with Educate Our State, Planned Parenthood Affiliates of CA and women in the forefront of anti-poverty efforts, we can identify, recruit and connect promising prospects to the resources that will enable them to run and win.
